Microchipping:
Every pet owner's worst nightmare: the gate is left open, the
door doesn't close, or the collar slips off of a head. A pet is
lost. Think this can't happen to your pet? Think again. Even
the most well-prepared pet owners lose their pets. According to
Home Again, one in three pets goes missing in its lifetime and
90% of those without identification never return home.

Control Shelters & Rescues
AC Shelters are open-admission, responsible for catching strays,
accepting owner surrenders, investigating complaints of animal
abuse or neglect within their home Parish.
Other area shelters and rescues sometimes accept owner
surrenders, take animals from animal control shelters, and
sometimes take in strays or wounded animals from the street.
